- Hidden Treasures In the townland of Enagh it is said there are hidden treasures. One is said to be under a wooden post and if a person goes looking for the treasure which is said to be a pot of gold, at twelve o'clock at night and kills a white dog that is said to be minding the gold, the treasure will be his. No one would have any chance of getting the gold unless he kills the dog.
The is also said to be an iron barrel, full of silver hidden in an old wall round which there are white thorn bushes growing and it is said if a person gets through the bushes without touching them he will get the silver
There is also said to be a silver chair hidden in a stone ditch. It is said if a person see a white bird going into a hole in the ditch, and go to the spot to watch the bird coming out, he or she will get the silver chair on the bird;s back.- Collector
