  1. Ruins.
There is an old ruined Church in Castlerahan old Cemetery. It is in the townland of Castlerahan, in the parish of Castlerahan and barony of Castlerahan. The gable and one side wall are all that are left standing. There are two other ruins in the parish of Ballymachugh in the County of Cavan, they are within a 1/4 mild of each other.
One of these was called "Fortland and the other "Ardley Cottage". The two were owned by Lord Maxwell. The Irish Republic attacked and pulled down the roof in the 1916 rising. The people in the locality stole the oak panelled doors, the windows, the railing that surrounded the house, they also took all the cut stone they could find. Some of the walls are all that remain.
