    Next day Dean and the butler were driving along the road when they saw a flock of geese in a field all standing on one leg. "Now", said the butler, "did I not tell you that geese had only one leg". "Wait a minute" said Dean, "and I shall soon put two legs under them." So, getting down of the car he took his whip in his hand, and the moment he cracked it all the geese ran off on two legs. "Now, do you not see that geese have two legs" said Dean. "Oh" said the butler, "why did you not crack your whip at the goose on the table yesterday"
