    boiled for the dinner when the dinner would be ready, the bone of meat would be left on the dish of cabbage and each person take a bite of in their turn, and there would be a drink of buttermilk after it.
    The people long ago used to eat any time there would get it. The people in former times had no special kind of food at any special time.
    Eggs were eaten on Easter Sunday long go, and were eaten with wooden spoons.
    Tea was first used about one hundred years ago. Before cups became common, tin pannies were used for drinking tea out of.
