  1. Sally rods are gathered first. Then one of them is shaped round in a circle for the top and another for the bottom. Then a number of rods are joined to the top circle and stretched down to the bottom one. In order to strengthen them others are crossed over the ones that are lying lengthways. Then the basket is completed.
