  1. About a mile from my house there is a certain cross-roads called Bellinwar Cross, and it is situated in a lonely place called Moate in the parish of Moynalty Co. Meath.
    Not far from this place there lived a man in a cottage. One night during the time of the "Black and Tans" he was walking by this cross-roads when a "Black and Tan" came on and shot him, and did not even bury him.
