- When Galloping O Hogan was escaping from the English he passed by a place which is now called "Hogan's Pass". It was there that he changed the shoes on the horse so that the English were following him one way, he was gone the other. There is a cave still to be seen near where he passed and it is said that there may be thousands of pounds hidden in it.There is also a flag stone near the cave with writing on it which no can read. It is thought that there may be gold under it.
