GarryclogherThe exact meanin of the word "Garryclogher" is not definitely known. Some say it is "[?] garaide cloc[?]mair" the comfortable garden while others say it is "[?]Gairaide clocair[?]" the stone garden and there are people who hold that it means the "Convent garden." As proof of the latter they say two local saints St Trea and St Gubbenet lived in Garyclogher.
