    mountains with his horse, his dog and his gun.
    The grand-father of the present owner of the castle is buried also on the Knockmealdown mountains and there is a large monument erected to him. It is said that he wanted to be buried there so that he could be looking down on his own castle. The monument can be seen from the Vee road.
