    The next in the rush like the wind through the trees
    Came that hard rising hero bold Volunteer Reaves,
    Tom Studdert, Dick Bartley & two or three more,
    Rode as forward as ever till all things were o'er.
    There was young Dan Moloney & his big brother Jack,
    Two finer young fellows ne'er followed the pack,
    Twas a caution to see how Jack scattered the water,
    To run us all down with the Biro Catcher's Daughter.
