- There is only one tailor in this parish. He lives and works in Doonbeg. He never has clothes for sale. No cloth is woven in this parish now. There was woven cloth in this parish about ten years ago. The weaver's name was Normoyle. The implements a tailor has are, a sewing machine, an iron, a scissors, a thimble, a needle, and a measure. Shirts are made in the homes of the people. They are made of flannelette. Shirts are not made of linen now. Stockings are made in this parish now. The thread they had long ago was to spin the wool. There are spinning wheels in the locality yet. They wear special suits for special occasions.
