  1. My father tells a story that he often heard when a boy about treasure that is supposed to be hidden in a place called Cobbler's Rock. Cobbler's Rock is in a field on the right hand side of the road leading from Doohamlet at a spot called Glennor Brae. It is supposed to be a fairy treasure hidden at one time by a fairy. A man called Arel Connolly was supposed to have tried to unearth the treasure but he failed to get anything. The treasure consists of a crock of gold. There is a fairy watching that nobody will touch it. It is said that people used to see a light there late at night.
