    Mr Farley lived in Bridge St, Cootehill. People here say he was the best swimmer in Co. Cavan. He is described as being able to swim as quickly as a fish & was supposed to have had a webbed toe.
    One Summer night he was drunk. He went for a swim with his clothes on in Bellamont Lake Cootehill & was drowned.
