  1. In the year 1847 The road leading from Bailieborough town to Cavan town was made.
    That was during the famine times
    A lot of people died of hunger that time.
    The men had to work at the rate of fourpence a day and feed themselves.
    In that there came a failure on the potatoes and the people could not eat them.
    The failure of the potatoes caused feaver.
