  2. 5. They made fifes out of sallies. They bored a hole down through the sally. Then they put six holes in the side for the person's fingers and one on the top to blow into.

  3. 6. Horses were made from carrots as follows. They put four legs into the carrot and put a head and tail on it. Dolls were also made from boards. They cut the board into a square body and nailed on a round head. Then they put on two legs and hands. When they were finished
