   Shanahan was a native of Ogonnelloe son of Paddy Shanahan .He lived to a ripe old age and died about twenty four years ago.There is a post office in his house now owned by Thomas Costello son of Rody Costello .There are two families of Mooneys in Ballyhurley and two in Ballinaglore .There was but one Harry Mooney who came from near Belfast while a young man.The family were weavers .His four sons settled near one another Mick,Tom, Frank and Pad.Mick is survived by his granson Mick Tom by his two daughters not married.Frank by his son John and family. Pad did not marry but lived with Mick at the old homestead.Mick had three sons.Henry ,John and Pat.Henry became a police man retired and married Miss Ryan Lived and died at Sumraerhill Co Tipp.John married Miss O Connor Ballinaglera where he still lives going strong in his 79th year .Pat appears to be the brains of the Mooney family .he was handy though he never served an apprenticeship to any trade. He was an interesting man. He died in 1910 very much regretted by all his neighbours.
