    afraid that it would ,be stolen from him so he put it in hide in the fort.Some man heard of it being in hide.One night he went to look for it and something frightened him.He went home and he never came back again.There is over a thousand pounds of gold hidden.No one ever got it and no one will ever get it because they are afraid to dig for it.
