  2. Once upon a time there was a witch named Biddy Earley. It was said that she used to cure people by the power of the devil. When people were sick their neighbours went to Biddy for a cure.
    On one occasion a girl fell grievously sick and her father went to Biddy for a cure. She gave him the magic bottle and told him not to get off his horse until he reached home.
