My heart it could cheer.- Sometimes people try to catch the leipreacháin. He lives under a mushroom in the summer and under a big stone in winter. Any time you see the leipreacháin he is making boots and he sits on a crock of gold. My father told me a story one night, that a man ran after a leipreacháin, but when he was coming near him he tripped over a stone. Whhen he got up to run after him again the leipreacháin was gone.
The mermaid lives in the sea. She is half a woman and half a fish. She gives three signs when a storm is coming. Sometimes she sits on the rocks. At other times she puts(continues on next page)- Collector
