  1. There is a field in Bunratty called the White Hill, and in the corner of theirs field was a house which was a great meeting for the young men of the neighbourhood at night.
    The servants of Bunratty Castle used to spend some of their Leisure hours there, and a frequent visitor was the butler.
    This night he was coming home by a shortcut when he met a naked man who asked the butler for his shirt.
    Naturally the butler refused. Then the naked man promised he would show him where a boiler of gold lay hidden not seven yards away if he would give the shirt. But still he refused, and so as they parted.
