“There is a field in Ralahine called crag buide because it is covered with bushes”
There is a field in Ralahine called crag buide because it is covered with bushes. It is a very remarkable crag because a lot of old remains are in it.Its size is about twenty twenty acres. The first remarkable thing is a large rock and very remarkable it is too.it is about fifteen feet on the outside and a river is at the bottom of the other side. This river is cut between a mound of earth and stone. This causes the face of the rock to be two hundred or more feet .The river is a fresh spring river because it is bounded by wells at every side of it.it is said that the Fir Bolg had this stone for climbing up it.A soldier would not be left in Fir Bolg army(continues on next page)- Collector
