- There is a stone in Mr McMahons' land Stonehall on which are carved a beads a cross and a prayer-book. It is supposed to be an altar stone of Penal days.
There is a pillar-stone in Hassetts' land Stonehall, a large stone split half-way. "There are holes and short lines in this rock."
A small island near Rhinanna is called the island of the warriors. Two soldiers whose bodies came in with the tide are buried here. There are two pillar-stones over their grave, and the soldiers are seen standing beside there every night.
There is a ring of stones in Mr Riedy's land in Rhinanna. There is a stone in Feenish island on which there is the track of a foot. Saint Senan left this mark on the stone when he jumped from the mainland to the island.
There is a rock in Mr Liddy's field, Rhinanna called Sarsfield's Chair. - Pages 15 - 41
