"A gloom from the summit pervades the still air.
For the dark fairy hosts of Knockflerin are there.
An their monarch was vowed ere the dawn tomorrow -
To crown as his queen Eveleen Né Con Mara."
Now Eveleen Ní Con Mara wasn't wholly bereft of friends. The daughter of Clan Cuilin was very dear to the Fays of Cearna and Cuilin, and those good Sidhes knowing the design of Donn Fearneach prepared to defend the honour of Clan(continues on next page)
