  1. Name of an Old Place
    There is a large rock in the sea a few miles from cuskinny. It is called "The Devil's Rock." IT is said that long ago a man went rowing in his boat, a storm arose and he was dashed up against this rock. IT had a large hole in the middle, when he looked down the hole he saw the devil. When he said a prayer he found himself back in his boat again, and the sea was quite calm.
