    Hidden Gold
    I have often heard of a place where a pot of gold is hidden but this is a story about it. One summer when my grandfather was cutting oats in a place called Portaigh. It was very late when he had the oats stooked and on his way home he had to build a gap. He had the mare and cart with him and he left the cart standing at a big rock. The mare started to eat grass around the rock and after a while a big hound came out and chased the mare around Portaigh. The hound went under the rock again
