    There is a large stone lifting itself above the level of the ground at Kelladone National School.

    There is a large stone lifting itself above the level of the ground at Kelladone National School. It is said that there were two giants who could never agree with one another.
    It now happened that one of these giants was living in Kelladone and another in Clare Island.
    They both bore an enmity towards one another and when the giant in the Island was sitting on a rock overlooking the ocean he perceived his opponent walking slowly and going by the school he seized a stone and he began throwing stones with all his might.
