    and they sowed the greater part of their own food. They were very holy people but they had decided to give their lives to the service of God, but they were driven away when harsh rulers began to descend upon our shores.
    There is a well there known as the "Blessed Well" and people come from all parts of Connaught on the fourteenth of August. They remain fasting on that night and receive Holy Communion next morning
