  1. There was a two couple barn in a field called Garrda Paitín and, its ruins is there yet. A Teacher called Richard Bratch taught them. They had a double spelling Book with the meaning of each word at the back. Pat Hasting's taught in the barn of John Hasting's. A Teacher called Master Gibbons taught in the house of Ted Hasting and in every house in the village. Some of them wrote with
