- There is a holy well in Killgeever. People visit it the 15th August. Long ago the people used to sit up at the well the night before the 15th August. Rounds are performed and prayers are said at the well. The people do stations at it. Everyone that does a station at the well drinks the water. The people rub the water of the affected part of themselves. There are relics left at the well such as pins(continues on next page)
