They made a basket called a sgibh which was used for straining potatoes, They left it on a pot in the middle of the floor, and then they would eat a round it. They used to make other basket in which they gathered turf in. They are called deep basket
- The people made their own ropes out of rushes. They would pull rushes and beetle them with a beetle until the white would come out of them(continues on next page)
