- Every one do have a bonfire of there own on St Johns night in honour of St John. The people do make there bon-fire on the Creagans so that every one would be able to see it. The people do stations around the bon-fire. When the old people are going om they take a few coals with them and put them in the meadows so that good crops of corn and hay will be expected.
