He carried his big axe with him and going near a fine oak tree and was going to cut it down when a voice said to him "Oh kind sir have pity on me." "I have made my home in this tree and if you cut it down I will have no where to go and must die in the cold. The woodcutter was so surprised that he dropped his axe and nearly cut off(continues on next page)
