    whole with sour milk until dough was made then a cross was made on it with a knife and last of all it was placed in an oven.
    Griddle cake.
    You must put some flour on a basin and get some soda and salt and mix them up together. Then pour sour milk on it and when the dough was made the griddle was greased. Then the cake was cut into squars (sic) and put them on the griddle till baked.
