    Potato cake was made by mixing flour and potatoes together and baking the whole mixture in a griddle also.
    Griddle bread was made in a variety of ways. The flour was mixed with cream for special occasions and then there was plain griddle cake. When the cake was made it was cut into four quarters and baked as such on the griddle.
