- At the remote end of a deep, long glen was a neat dwelling. This two-roomed little house was erected close to the foot of one of the [?] which surrounded the glen. From clefts in a rock in the side of a hill and quite close to the cottage, a little stream of pure water burst forth and wound its way right through the glen out to the open space and off to the sea.
