    There was a woman milking cows wan evening in Moortown and begore it was a fine summer's Evening and the sun was just going down and she was fairly late with the milking as she was busy all day. She was milking away fine and pushy and one humming a tune to herself she stopped anyhow and looked around and there was a little woman standing beside her. This woman was any more than two and a half feet high and was about eighty years of age.
    The little woman bade her the time of day and then asked her how was she "Well" says the woman "There's no use in complaining." "Well" asked the little woman "Have you anything to complain about" "Well I have" says the woman. "I am a very poor woman and all that I have is two little cows and they are extraordinary good for milking but however it could be worse. My husband died last fall and I've no one now to do any work for me
