The man was too much afraid to say anything, so he walked on is quick is he could, an' when he happened ta look back, the little man was stharin' afther him, an he firmly believes that if he only claimed the cow he could have her insthead o' goin ta the fair ta buy anew wan.
- Two men wan out diggin praties wan day, an' they wan bhladderin' away between themselves when all o' asudden wan asked the other if he ever dhramed.
"No" sey the man.
"Never in yer life" sey the other.
"No" sey the firsht fella agin.
"Well I'll bet ten creels o' praties that y'ell dhrame tanight" sey the other man.
Well I'll bet twenty that I won't." sey his comrade. That was very good neither o' them forgot about the bets, an' that night comin on bed-time, the man who never dhramed put his wife an' childhre ta bed in very good time, an' when he thought that they war well ashleep, he brought in [?] [?], an' she shook(continues on next page)
