- In the townland of Tullymoy, near Stradbally, there is an old disused graveyard.
The story is told that a family who lives near the place some years ago levelled the graves and took the sods and clay to use as top dressing on a field close by.
Often sometime, they tilled this field and sowed potatoes in it.
The potatoes could not be used as bits of bone and teeth appeared ni the center of each potato.
