Next they take the "slóidín" in one hand and the eye that is made on the other end they take it in the other hand.They put the "slóidín" right through it. Then the bottom is complete. They pull the basket from the ground and cut off these ends of the rods within two inches of the top of the basket. They take two more rods to make two other "gads" and make "eiris" of it. They pull this on the side of the basket for hanging on the asals* back. Then it is complete. It is finished up and called a "loidín".(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
