Felloon is supposed to be a running sore which doctors did not seem to understand or cure long ago and at that time old people used the Glosehull as a cure, and to prepare it for that use, they boil it in water. Having done so they put it away to cool and by then the substance has frozen and formed a white ointment which they rub on to the sore with a light bandage on the affected part.
