Thee is another fort in Ardhoom with a road going through it called "Cnoc Laughey".
This is how it got its name:-
When they were making the road there was a man called John Laughey working in a sandpit getting sand for the road.
The sand pit fell on top of him and killed him.
About a year after a large cave opened up where the sandpit was, and a large fort grew each side of the road.
