- Owen Rowley of Dromada-Duke has a field called the "Chapel Field." It was decided to build a church in this field and some of the stones were gathered there and are still to be seen in the field. Then the chapel was built where it now stands. First it was used as a school and every scholar had to bring in a stone to sit on as there were no desks then.
