In the year "1829" there was a big storm. It knocked trees and ditches. It blew half the water out of Mc Glain's lake. The water was blown out of the rivers. When the storm was over the people got loads of fish.
A man and a woman were going for a creel of potatoes when the storm rose. The woman put the creel on the man's back but the wind blew it off. When she looked at her house she saw the roof going off it.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
