Then they dipped them in melted fat, and lit them every night. In the olden times these were as useful to them as lamps are now to us. They used to make nails and pigrings in the forges from weak iron. They also twisted straw by hand and made straw ropes out of it. The old women used to spin wool and knit their own stockings. They used to boil and peel rods. Then they made white baskets and sold them in(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
