    There is a story told about two boys from Steelaun who were great with a girl in Ross, Killala.

    One night when the Catholic boy was going to see the Ross girl again the Protestant attacked him in the form of a bull and killed him.
    Next day the tracks of the bull were to be seen on the Strand.
