He would also go into a field to a bull and if the bull hunted him he would race him. Jack Tobin, Burchill, Tallow was another swift runner and Jimmie McGrath, Dromroe, cappoquin. John Ormonde, Gallis Hill, Lismore challenged the Champion of Waterford to run against him and he beat him.
Great Walkers
Thomas Feeney, Deerpark, Lismore walked from Dublin to Lismore. Mrs, O'Connell, Bridane, Lismore was also a great walker and Bridget Greehy, Camphire, Cappoquin used to walk to Youghal with a basket of fish in two hours.
Great Jumpers
Daniel Gallaher, Barrack St. Cappoquin, jumped from the top of the bridge spannin g the Blackwater at Cappoquin down into the river and a man named Sweeney jumped from Lismore top bridge about fifty feet down into the river.
