    When the hedge-hog wants an apple he climbs up the tree and shakes a bough 'till the apples fall.

    When the hedge-hog wants an apple he climbs up the tree and shakes a bough till the apples fall. Then he comes down and rolls on the apples until some stick on the quills on his back. Then he walks off home and has a good feed.
    When he wants a drink he comes up very easy to a cow that's chewing the cud and starts to drink her. Some cows won't let him but others will stretch the upper hind leg out of his way to give him a chance.
