There are no old people living in it. There are more houses now in Bettyville than long ago and there are no ruins. The land is good and not very wet. Good crops of wheat and oats grow in it.
Two small rivers flow through Bettyville. There is a stream in it also called Margarets stream because long ago an old woman called Margaret lived in a little house beside the stream.
There is a field beside Bettyville house called the lawn because long ago when rich people lived in it they used this field as a lawn. Now cattle graze on it- Bailitheoir
