Mr. White was a staunch Catholic and he told the priest he could have the cave to hide in and to say mass in. He then got steps concreted in the wall and he got the interior remodeled. Well when the Penal days were over another Mr. White became owner of the estate. He had the weeds cut down and made into a field. But he left the weeds growing on the path leading to the cave. When he died his grandson the late Mr. White succeeded him. Not one person ever found the cave nor the path leading to it, only one child called Mary White whose heart and body
