- Mullen-a-Shee means the hill of the fairies. It is on this hill that the Protestant church of Ballyshannon is situated. Long ago in this town there lived an old Pagan king. (Aos Ruas). One day while crossing the river Erne he lost his footing and was swept over the Falls. Some time later his body was recovered and was buried(continues on next page)
